Hard Plastic Dolls from the 1950’s Clothes Information

Sweet Sue, Nanette, Alexander Margaret and Maggie, Mary Hoyer, and others. There is confusion for many about the clothes for the hard plastic dolls from the 1950s. Because there is limited space in the menu bar for words, I have  to have different categories for these dolls, but  the clothing for them fits any of the same size in any of the categories. For example, the clothes for 14″ Alexander 1950s hard plastic Little Women dolls with the Maggie and Margaret faces, have the same size and shape body as the 14″ Sweet Sue, Nanette, and Mary Hoyer as well as other unmarked dolls with the same body. The same is true of the other sizes– for example, the 17/18″ Sweet Sue body is the same as the same size  as the 17/18″ Maggie, Margaret, and Nanette. I wanted to clear this up.

The Robert Tonner 14″ Betsy McCall can wear the clothes for these dolls.

The Ideal P-90 body Betsy McCall wears the 14″ P-90 Toni clothes.

If you have questions please email or call. I hope this will clear up some confusion!

In loving memory: JoAnn Morgan
