Some people think any dress for any doll is a “baby doll dress”. This is an error. There are many kinds of dolls representing children and people from infancy on. A “baby doll” is a doll that represents a BABY, one that is under walking and talking age. Once they are walking and talking, children are “toddlers” and not babies, so those dolls would be called “toddler dolls”. A little older and they become “child dolls”, “little girl dolls” , or even later “pre-teen” or and then “teen age dolls” and then lady or fashion dolls.
This category of dresses is for BABY DOLLS== meaning dolls representing babies that are not yet walking and talking. The dolls these dresses fit will be chubby and look like babies
.To find the size dress you need, measure your baby doll from the top of the head to the bottom of the feet– for example, if your doll measures 19″ you would order the 19-20″ size.
