Antique Doll Dress Dropped Waist Slip

Antique doll dress slip-- these slips are made specially for antique bisque head dolls, to go under antique doll dress styles. This dropped waist slip is made of old-white ( sometimes called winter white) 100% cotton batiste. It is slightly off white, instead of bright white, making it ideal for antique dolls. The lace on the bottom is pre-world war two antique cotton English netting lace.
All my patterns were made using actual antique dolls on ball-jointed composition bodies for models. The slips will also fit bisque head dolls on leather bodies, but because of the way the shoulder plate takes up fabric, and the fact that the knees are lower on many leather bodies, you may need to buy the next larger size for a leather bodied doll. To find the size for your doll, measure her from the bottoms of her feet to the top of her head (don't count the extra height a thick wig might give her) and that is her slip or dress size i my clothing .For example if you have a doll that measures 17" or 18" , you would get the 17-18" size slip.
